Founded in 2001, Edwards Global Services, Inc. (EGS) takes US franchise brands global. In 2015, EGS received the “E Star” U.S. Presidential award for export excellence. The U.S. Secretary of Commerce appointed Mr. Edwards to the District Export Council (DEC) of Southern California in 2016. Mr. Edwards was the AlphaGraphics, Inc. master licensee in China, Eastern Europe and Turkey. He also served as the company’s International Executive growing the company’s global network from 4 to 24 countries.
Previously, Mr. Edwards had a 20-year oil and gas sector career with Atlantic Richfield in Alaska, China, Indonesia and Turkey. A Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), Mr. Edwards is active in the International Franchise Association (IFA). He is a Member of the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (CFE) Board of Governors, a Member of the Board of Trustees for the IFA Franchise Education and Research Foundation and a Member of the International Leadership Council of the IFA. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of IBS, an Istanbul-based market research group, the International Executive Resources Group (IERG), The Institute of Management Consultants, the Advisory Board of the University of California MIND Institute. Most importantly, Mr. Edwards is a Founder and Director of the Nancy Imlay Edwards Foundation.
Mr. Edwards speaks around the world on taking businesses international and doing business in emerging markets and has authored numerous articles on global franchising. He publishes the GlobalVueTM country-ranking tool quarterly to help companies decide which are the best countries for profitable development of their business.
