Tanya is Vice-President of Policy and General Counsel for the Entertainment and Software Association of Canada, the Canadian association exclusively dedicated to serving the business and public affairs needs of companies that publish and develop computer and video games for video game consoles, personal computers, mobile devices and the Internet. 

Tanya is responsible for ensuring that Canada’s policies and legislation support Canada’s thriving multi-platform video game industry.  Over the last 15 years, Ms. Woods has worked on complex domestic and international legal and policy challenges for private and public entities in the UK, US and Canada.  Prior to joining ESAC, Tanya served as a Director and Specialist Counsel for Canada’s largest telecommunications and broadcasting company and represented the Canadian Government as a trade negotiator for the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement and several bi-lateral trade negotiation discussions.
